IN SUMMARY: Please bring only absolute essentials to your session if possible. Thank you!

At the clinic

  • Please wait outside or in your car, until you are called to come in. Text to confirm that you have arrived.
  • Please sanitise your hands with an alcohol-based hand sanitiser on arrival.
  • You will be met at the door. Please do not use the entry buzzer – doors will be held open for you.
  • The therapist will check to ensure that you have a face mask or provide a disposable one if required (at cost).
  • The therapist will also check if you have developed any symptoms of illness since you were sent the appointment reminder with covid screening form.
  • If you show any signs of illness, your session will be postponed.
  • You will be brought directly to the treatment room, asking you to observe the clinic’s ‘no touch’ policy.
  • A visit to the toilet on the way is, of course, permitted if needed.

In the treatment room

  • A sanitisation station is available for your use by the door in the treatment room. The hand sanitiser used is hospital grade (70% alcohol).
  • You will be asked to wear a face mask or suitable face covering during your appointment, unless it causes stress, anxiety or respiratory difficulty.
  • When lying face down on the massage table you may remove the face mask or face covering, as provision has been made for a sanitary face cradle covering. This arrangement can be changed if it does not suit your needs.
  • If needed for special circumstances, the therapist may use vinyl gloves during treatment. Vinyl gloves are allergen safe and latex-free.
  • Tissues are provided for your personal needs, especially when following good respiratory etiquette for coughing or sneezing.
  • A small lined bin is also provided for your discarded tissues or other small waste, which is changed out between clients.
  • For your clothing and accessories a plastic tub is provided, so that you may leave everything in one tidy place.
  • Between clients, the massage table is fully stripped and all linens are replaced with fresh linens, with the used linens placed in a secure sealed laundry bag. Laundry is always done the same evening.
  • Between clients all high touch surfaces and common areas of the treatment room are cleaned and disinfected.
  • The room is also well ventilated between clients by opening the window and rear access door.
